What to see??????

I am coming over to New York for the first time in May. Me and my boyfriend are going to see as many shows as we can, as we always go to london and need a change, but we don't know what to see.
Can anyone help me? What are the best shows? and is there anything good opening before then? also is there anywhere where you can find out what shows are up at the half price booth in time square
