I completely agree that reading the script after having seen the play not only brings it back to life but shows up subtle points missed on first viewing. I know because I have seen it 30 times - both in London with the cast that is now on broaadway and with the other cast that toured England while "your" cast were making the film, due out in autumn - sorry "the fall". I became adicted to this play in London last year and have now seen it thirty times, both with its original cast that you are seeing on Broadway and with its touring cast that went around the UK - well, England! - last year. I suppose you are reading this because you are interested in theatre so KILL TO GET TO SEE IT!
