Will Broadway ever bring back originally written shows?

Seriously, I love the movie phase but... I kinda can't wait for something original as well. Not all of broadway is movie, but from what I've been seeing... it's movie into musical.

Well the Rapunzel's wig doesn't have to be long long... it could be to her feet or knees... But, the signature look of the character is those long long LONG locks of hair. This is hard movie is hard to do.... harder than Princess and The Frog, which would be a good show on B'way. Also... that cast list needs some fixing.
