re: Never have seen POTO and have a couple of qustions

Yes it is sung through with little dialogue. The Chandelier crash is hardly anything to be alarmed by..it just flies down a cable like a zip line with a strobe light and dark intense music.

Overall Phantom is a great show that encapsulates audiences nightly and you will most definately enjoy the night out with this show.

re: Raul Esparza as Dr. Fronk-en-steen
 Feb 14 2007, 10:01:49 AM
Given that Brian d'Arcy James does get the role I feel that it would be one of those perfect fits for him. He IS Dr. Fronk-en-steen. From his crazy hair to his whitty and overzealous style, I feel that Brian could act, sing, and probably dance (if needed) rings around Esparza. Now don't get me wrong, Esparza is one of my favorites, but I see Brian being much more believable and entertaining in the role.

Ask her what it was like to work with Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine in Into The Woods. And ask her if she has any upcoming projects.

I would say 21-31 with correct hair.

Im not a fan of her shirt. Good face though.

She can play anything from Anita in West side story to Rizzo in Grease to Tracy in Hairspray.

West Side is brilliant! Sans dancing...I'm no choreographer. I dont care if the show is happy at the end or if there are no jokes, I just want something that makes you cringe a little....with some grit to it. Best examples I can give you would be JC Superstar, and Sweeney Todd.
