It depends what you mean by "intelligent" as there are many definitions, one of the most universally used being "the ability to react in a situation by responding appropriately" so intelligence isn't necessarily how well someone does in school.

How is MATILDA selling?

In the UK Matilda has been selling very well and I saw it myself but don't believe it's the best show out there. The music is very good but the story, at times, is quite weak. Matilda is very popular because it is suitable for young children but I feel the buzz is slowly dying down about it but I hope it does well on Broadway because there's some very funny and touching moments.
