Does anyone know which cover to look out for with this article in it? I flipped through one with Kate and Leo on the front, but couldn't find it.

bwaybud, I think Sieber changes the name of the horse practically every show, so I'm sure the Lithgow reference was special.

Brian's voice is more powerful than an ogre's fart - and that's a good thing. OK, I'm not usually one to find fart jokes funny, but THAT had me going for about 5 minutes. LOVE the comparison. I'm so glad to hear that things are coming together. Thanks for the detailed reviews!

Thanks for the review, choitoy! I hope their opening night goes well. It sucks that Shrek's role isn't as meaty as it should be. I know Brian's very capable of being funny (Lieutenant of Inishmore, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), so it sucks that it's turning into the Farquaad Show. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Chris Sieber, but it's SHREK. We'll see how it goes...

@rose_pearl: That article says Sieber's a Tony winner. NOMINEE, dumbtards! I didn't even notice that at first...but yeah, I hate that.

Does Sutton's costume "expand" when she turns into an ogre? That's the only reason I could think of as to why it looked like it was drowning her...

^ He might have gone to see Brian...assuming they were pretty chummy in Sweet Smell.

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20223080,00.html Looks like Shrek made it into People magazine! "McGreeny," eh? I would post the picture but it never works for me when I do it...

I kind of like that logo better than the original. I like the silhouette of Shrek and Donkey...

I've been reading that Brian takes the longest because of the makeup...around midnight or so. Not sure about Sutton.

Thanks for the Act I review! Your critique was constructive and made a lot of sense. I wondered how Brian would do with Shrek. I agree, if he can do Burrs...Shrek should be SCARY. I think they'll have plenty of time for the changes...
