A to Z - Musicals Nov 1
2006, 05:37:15 PM
Starting with the letter A, then B etc all the way to Z, see how many times we can go round without repeating a show or missing a letter out! I expect it will be 4 rounds, as there arnt many musicals beginning with X... lets see what happens! Starter for Ten: A = A My Name is Alice B... Who's next?

Not along the same lines, but A to Z is always fun... eg A = A My Name is Alice B = Bat Boy etc etc... and everytime you cant remember one, or one is repeated you have to drink! shall we play this game then? new thread methinks...

Without that information, its indredibly difficult to know, however I feel we can all be assured that the capitalisation (the total cost before first public performance) has already been met on all of these shows and therefore they are all making money back, as by law of averages the amount they are playing to would far out way the weekly cost of production. However, as we don't know what 'deal' was struck in terms of royalties/ box office split/ producer/angel investors we will never know. Perh

re: Well most UK critics HATE Wicked Oct 1

Living in England, attending the UK Premiere and after-party, and working as a journalist... I have to say I would not again pay £60 to see the show, the production is amazing, but I dont think at that price it is worth the money! The Music lacks alot, but again, as posted previously, how does one stop 'a run-away train'... you can't. The show will do well, it has a great team behind it, and has tremendous theatre support. I trust it shall run for at least 2 cast changes, but do fear it will hav

Umm, I was there and its was a great show. However, I would be disappointed if i'd paid 55 pounds to see it, it wasn't worth that. Not when you can pay 10 to see Fame.
