Oh I totally forgot about the Doogie Howser orchestra. That was great.

I didn't care for the Kathy Lee skit. The did the same basic joke/impression over and over. Although when NPH started dancing/working out, it was pretty funny...IMHO.

"Overall, I thought this was the worst SNL in a long time. None of it was funny. All of the material was terrible. I was so embarrassed for Neil Patrick Harris. The only sketch that was even remotely funny was the air traffic controllers with super long finger nails. "

I thought the show other than "Save Broadway" was crap. I thought the Broadway skit was the funniest one in a while other than Anne Hathaway's Mary Poppins.

SuperShubert.... "If You Hadn't But You Did" is from Comden and Green's revue "Two on the Aisle" from 1951.

As far as Sorkin goes, I don't think she's been with him in a while. Last I heard she was dating some guy in his early/mid 20s.

That was a great skit. I fell asleep shortly after that one. How was the rest of the show?

That's sad. I was fortunate enough to see her in a touring production of Cinderella several years ago.
Best place to sit for Chicago
 Dec 15 2008, 12:08:45 PM
Now that Gypsy's closing has been moved, I'll be seeing Chicago instead on that March 1st weekend. I've never seen it. Only seen the movie. I figure it's one of those shows I have to see at least once.

Any advice on how far back in the Center Orchestra is ideal to see this show? I heard that sitting too close for this show isn't good due to all the choreography.

For those who had tickets for any shows between Jan 12th and March 1st, call Telecharge. You will need to send back your original tickets to them in order to get a refund.

This sucks. I had Row B Center Orch for March 1st. Do I need to do anything to get a refund or do they just do that automatically?

Hehe....that's what I was thinking.

Is there a list of shows and their pending closing dates anywhere? Seems like there is a lot more than usual.

EDIT: Google is my friend.

re: Rosie Live was the lowest rated show of the night
 Nov 28 2008, 10:18:36 AM
"I can imagine that a lot of people decided not to tune because Rosie isn't really popular after the way she acted on The View."

...and how she acts on her own old TV show and how she acts in life in general. If you disagree with her politics, she becomes becomes a raving lunatic. Nobody wants to watch someone who is constantly speaking from her pulpit.

I didn't watch the variety show but I heard that she continued to rant about Donald Trump, Nancy Grace, and Bill O'Reilly. When that's all you heard this woman do is get into fights with these people, it just isn't funny.

Sarah Brightman SYMPHONY World Tour

The Boston Herald didn't care for the show. I agree with them about the center seats thing.
