Ragtime Revival

The revival was one of the most breathtaking things I've ever seen onstage. I'll never forget the act I curtain - most of the audience just sat in stunned silence, tears everywhere. The wall of sound from Till We Reach That Day was incredible. I saw the original production in LA years ago and loved it then, but found the new staging to be far better.
Christiane Noll was a revelation. I'm very grateful I got to see it.

Heather Headley, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad vocals fill new Disney show

Had the pleasure of attending the premiere of World of Color - Winter Dreams last night at Disney California Adventure, and was pleasantly surprised to find a show packed with Broadway vocals. Josh Gad provides new dialogue as Olaf from Frozen, along with his big song, "In Summer." Idina Menzel's thrilling "Let It Go" is the high point of the show, and the remaining songs - "Winter Dreams Theme" (written specifically for the show), "Believe", "Thankful", "I See the Light" and "Joy to the World"
