This contest is a brilliant marketing strategy. What better way to tell the masses then television that one of America's favorite musicals is coming back to Broadway. I'm not saying that I support the idea of casting people this way. However, it was a giant open casting call so anyone could have shown up to it. Why is Disney even making a second High School Musical? The first was horrible and sequels usually are worse. It's a shame the first musical is being staged as live theatre.
