Alright, so I've heard a few songs from this musical and really, I don't think it's bad at all. The only information I've read is that it's about old people who steals furs for different causes.
What I really want to say is has anybody seen the show?

I'm glad you guys enjoy Yassmin and I actually used to her as one of the best, but this was before I knew how high broadway standards are. Looking back now, Yassmin's performance was energetic and very dance heavy, but a LARGE obvious component of RENT is singing. First of all her voice didn't carry, wasn't strong, and had a absolutely nothing impressive about it. Secondly her "all the scars of the never's and maybe's" scared me since she growed and screamed, actually I thought her scream/growl

Ok I'd just like to say that at a point in my life I was RENT-obsessed. Antonique is by far the best Mimi vocally, and hasn't had her fair share of great tapings. Antonique lacks a little energy and dance talent, but she is a totally committed and great Mimi. Daphne was a great actress but her singing never impressed me, matter of fact not one Mimi (excluding AS) ever impressed me as much as her. She's also super friendly at stage door and very appreciative. I mean Scary Spice and Yasmin Alers w
