@ April Saul Lots of scenes were fun. The wedding dress in the back of the limo will be an image I remember for the end of time.

Let's talk about The Flick somewhere else. It was perfect. Haha. It used boredom as a tool like Beckett.

Cate Blanchett's Streetcar did not transfer because the Williams estate already promised the Terrance Howard revival for Broadway.

The Janet McTeer version started at BAM and went to Broadway.

I saw this production at the Young Vic and was blown away (you can watch is on Digital Theatre). I saw it again today.

Hattie Morahan could be our next Cate Blanchett. She is incredible. I've seen many A Doll's House, but what distinguishes this one is Hattie, the set, the ligh

Love and Information is not traditional narrative theater. It is a series of short scenes that build up to...what?

I think the power of this play is it makes you question your ideas about theatre. I go to the theatre a few times a week and this play is a challenge. It made me think about what I expect, about what I define the theatre as, and how I interact with theatre.

The Schultz estate and the writers of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown didn't feel threatened by Dog Sees God. This play was at Rattlestick- a 99 seat theater for two months. I don't know why the producers find this play such a threat. It's actually the best PR this play could get.

In terms of quality, I saw 3C and have a copy of th

"Most often in a script the stage directions you see are not by the actual authors. They are penned by someone who was involved in the original staging, and placed in... Mostly as a guide. So while you need to follow and honor the written text by the author, most often then not stage directions are not penned by them."

It really depends on what script you're talking about. Book writers and playwrights do write stage directions. Some acting editions like Samuel French sometimes put in ad
