Shouldn't this be Off-topic?

I too am curious why Eden turned down the role.

But I love me some Gavin!

It certainly doesn't HURT to send e-mails.

Let's keep Spring Awakening alive by giving everyone in the cast AIDS.

I don't really understand the "business" side of Broadway (I don't really understand the business side of anything but good, old American prositution) but couldn't shows just lower their ticket prices? Surely more people would want to go if they had cheaper prices. I know I would. Plus, the not-so-typical theater goer would be more inclined to go to a show with cheap tickets.

Or maybe I'm just being stupid. ^^;

re: Should I go see Equus, before its run ends?

I find Equus to be HIGHTLY overrated, but I'm in the minority there.

I would see any show you get the chance to see really.

Dear Gypsy,
Please film.
Thank you.

That's the day after my birthday.

re: hairspray and other shows taping???
 Dec 13 2008, 10:48:28 PM
I love Hairspray, but if they taped it over Gypsy there would be slaughter.

I take every opportunity I get to vocalize my wish for a Gypsy DVD. Just in case someone is watching.

"Javier's Usnavi is a lot more "cuddly" than Lin's. I'm surprised they're not having him take over."

Wait, he's not taking over? Last I heard that was the rumor. Oh no!

re: Realizing how great GREY GARDENS was...

Its kinda a random choice for me too, but ever since I heard Alice sing Meadowlark on that site, I've always had the thought in my head.

I think this show doesn't work without the libretto. If you buy the cast recording, you have to the book with it or else it just doesn't work. I didn't appreciate it at all until I got the book.

re: soundtracks you have to listen to a lot to like them??
 Dec 13 2008, 12:03:52 AM
Not a recording, but I could not stand Kerry Butler's voice for the longest time. Then, when I saw her on the Tony's I was amazed. Ever since I can't stop listening to her!

I always pictured Alice Ripley playing Edith/Little Edie. Don't ask me why....

"Brooke and Tiffany Engen?"

PiraguaGuy, that's kinda who I've had in the back of my mind. I didn't see Tiffany go on for anyone in Legally Blonde, but it was mentioned in a past thread and I was really intrigued by the idea. Does anyone know how they sing/act?

I've always been captivated by his compositions.

If anyone has this correct soundtrack and is feeling in the Christmas spirit, please PM me. I'd really appreciate it.

re: X-Mas OBCR Questions

If you go the Jekyll and Hyde route, do the Concept Album. It is much better than the OBC.
re: Has anyone had this problem?
 Dec 6 2008, 04:21:52 PM
Yes, well Falcon in the Dive and Where's the Girl sound exactly like Terrence Mann. I knew that the majority of it is the OBC, but I'm not hearing ANY newly recorded tracks.
