It would be a tough sell in Australia. The general mainstream theatre going public aren't the South Park crowd. They tend to be older people and women on 'girl's nights out' hence the proliferation of revivals of Dirty Dancing, The Sound of Music, Wicked, The Rocky Horror Show and Grease.
I'm hoping the rumours about Pippin are true though.

Which theatre would Our House play?
Also, Pippin and The Sound of Music are rumoured to be coming.
Do you all expect Matilda to have a long run in Sydney? A year maybe?

Not a great year for new musicals by the looks of things. Will any of them still be open a year after the Tonys?
