See, here in England it's been the exact opposite, in my experience. There are hundreds of adverts, posters and trailers being shown everywhere for Mamma Mia. But I've not seen anything for TDK since I saw the teaser trailer before Sweeney Todd.

I read in an article that Meryl did that when they filmed The Winner Takes It All scene. She sang the song for every single take they shot.

It's not really VERY different, but when Kerry performs the song outside of Wicked [ie. at concerts etc.] she tends to riff a little on "things I've never felt" and "so happy I could melt". She did one of them on her last night here too. She should do it all the time; it sounds awesome.

That's just ridiculous for you to think.
I don't see how that is ridiculous. In the past few weeks, as well as performing in Wicked 8 times a week, she's done a concert in Germany, the 2-night Chess concert in London [plus rehearsals for both] and is recording an album. She has 2 days after her final London performance before she flies to NY and then has about a week to rehearse. I don't see how assuming that she's holding back now before she goes is so ludicrous a suggestion. She wan

I just want to ad in my two cents about Kerry.
Her acting really came under fire because there seemed to be a time when she just didn't care anymore. However, she is really back with avengence. I've seen her 3 times this year. 4th and 21st Jan where she was utterly incredible vocally.
I most recently saw her on 22nd May [Thursday] and although her voice wasn't as powerful as usual [I think she's holding back for her last couple of weeks to save her voice so she can really make

I went to see Mamma Mia last night with friends.
At intermission
Suzi: "Holly, you said Meryl Streep was in this! Is she on in the 2nd half?"
Emma [laughing] "She's the one playing the mum, Suzi!"
Me: "Umm...Meryl's in the movie, not the show..."
Yeah...because a) Meryl Streep would really be performing in Mamma Mia in London! and b) I know we weren't front row, but how could she think, for the whole of the first half, that the actress playing Donna was Me
