One Shubert Alley gift shop to close October 2
 Sep 30 2022, 11:23:13 PM

From my knowledge of the situation, there is no issue between the Shubert's and the current management of the store. The store was told that they were losing the space because the Shubert's wanted to "repurpose" it. It now appears that they want to continue to have the store there, but with a company they have a greater investment in.

The current company was offered the space 40 years ago to turn it into a Broadway gift shop, and now it's thanks, and there's t

It's so nice of the Shubert Organization to kick out their former partners in the space, only to bring in new partners to run the same space. After 40 plus years of creating and running the store, people are losing their jobs so that another company can take over and use it for the same exact thing. But I guess all that matters in the long run is that people will still be able to get their Broadway merch, and they'll still be able to make their money.

Show Programs...On Their Way Out?
 Apr 18 2018, 12:07:24 AM

It has been taking longer for some shows to come out with their programs recently. The theater shops do carry most of the current shows that are available, when they are made available. They used to carry a variety of closed show programs as well, but most merchandising companies have discontinued making the programs once the shows have closed nowadays.

Hello Dolly programs are currently only available at the theater because of the fact that they are the Bette programs with a small ins

Do they sell

There is not currently an online store to purchase this merchandise. The stores One Shubert Alley and Theatre Circle do sell some of the merchandise (shirts, magnets, keychains, pins, totes) and are waiting for other items. The poster is only available in the theater, or through Triton Gallery, as of now.
