Huh? What do you mean by "middle America"? Middle America is probably not the best term to use here; I meant the general public. The voting crowd. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I agree with bbeech. Yes, there were many talented contestants. Also, basing the results of a contest on votes alone may or may not be a fair way to judge talent. Middle America, for the most part, does not always know true ability. However, if Broadwayworld.com advertised that this contest would be based on the number of votes counted, the results should reflect that.
