I believe the day of they sell $30 tickets for the back row of the balcony. Which is what you can buy them for in the first place, anyway.

How would you cast in RENT at the Hollywood Bowl??  Feb 7 2010, 03:09:51 AM
Because we don't have enough unconvincing 20-somethings in RENT as it is.

Haha, I caught my self saying "Ouch!" before the link had even loaded. That time of year, I suppose.

Did I choose my colours around the Playbill colours? Maaaaybe. There are more elsewhere but that's the general idea.

If you're near an Ikea they have clip frames that work nicely. They are 4 for $10 perhaps? Can't remember exactly. And they are always stocked up so there is no problem getting several matching ones.

Edit: Curiosity got the better of me. They were 2 for $3.

re: Choreographer of the year: Sergio Trujillo?  Dec 28 2009, 02:39:23 PM
The best part of his WSS choreo was how he adapted it for the thrust stage. Really amazing work.
re: Sexy Broadway Songs?  Nov 1 2009, 10:55:27 PM
I think 'Let It Go' has some great choreo potential but maybe it's not as up tempo as you're looking for.

The Acid Queen

Anything but Out Tonight.

re: A WEST SIDE STORY not to be missed  Oct 18 2009, 07:26:04 PM
No answer to your second question but it was Robbins' choreography. However, his that choreography is for a proscenium stage a choreographer was needed to tailor the dancing to Stratford's thrust stage.
re: What Did You Get at the BCEFA Broadway Flea Market?  Sep 27 2009, 04:21:00 PM
If you could sell a box for $150, wouldn't you?
re: Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 9/20  Sep 21 2009, 05:59:19 PM
I appreciate that After Miss Julie only had 5 shows this week but this is the first time I've seen a show in the 5-digit range for their gross.
re: [tos] guys working on an ABC sitcom  Aug 28 2009, 11:44:47 AM
But will a sitcom get them on Ellen?
Hilarious Comments...  Aug 23 2009, 11:31:16 PM
Instead of writing 5 reviews cause I'm just that lazy...I shall give you other people's commentary from my NYC trip.

Next to Normal:
Mom says: "It was sad...and I don't like sad! Therefore, I didn't like this musical."

Hair:
Dad says: "There was a guy in clothes singing during 'Where Do I Go'? " Thanks, Dad!

Mary Poppins:
5 year old I was entertaining for the day says: "I want to go to Broadway EVERYDAY!"

Billy Elliot:
Mom says: "I figure

re: WSS: 'Pretty/Boy Like That' now partially in English  Aug 22 2009, 12:26:07 AM
"Temper, Temper" was still there as of the Wednesday mat. Although, even as an adult...that song was pretty creepy.
re: 9 to 5 - Free Programmes  Aug 21 2009, 12:49:15 AM
Free programs with another purchase are still being given out as of tonight. If I overheard correctly you also get a free magnet if you spend over $25.

They must be really desperate to get rid of stuff because someone was wiling to pay the full price for the program and the girl told her to buy the $8 dollar magnet and get it free.

I'm seeing the show tomorrow night too, Kirby. Where are you sitting?
BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO  Aug 19 2009, 12:15:42 AM
The only understudy was Briana for Allison. I guess her hip is still bothering her, which is too bad. I hope she feels better soon. Briana was super cute, though.

Just got back! Krystal was fantastic as Abe. Such a little powerhouse that one! Tried to stagedoor but that ridiculous storm cut us short. Shout out to Neil for being awesome and letting me hang out inside the door so I didn't die from the ice cube sized hail!
Some Koberrific conversation  Aug 16 2009, 01:58:19 PM
I'm seeing (in order) Next to Normal, HAIR. HAIR. HAIRHAIRHAIR, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, and 9 to 5.

And yes, the shout-singing was necessary just there.

Some Koberrific conversation  Aug 16 2009, 10:37:09 AM
