some reviews by the people who are paid to do so can be found by searching Jack Neal's Theatre reviews, modbee.com, gardearts.org- you'll find that almost every touring production, West End, and the broadway show for that matter, received reviews ranging from terrific to horrid. Assuming something is not good by "hearing things" is an easy way to bring more negativity to an already cold business. This is a perfect example of what is wrong with all these commercial shows. Many Americans would rather watch some has-been (usually not trained in dance or voice) plod her way though a popular show, instead of seeing someone they don't know, and have never seen before sing, dance, and act at a higher level of talent. The new Eva, Malia Tippets is ridiculous! Her voice compares to any broadway female that could tackle the role. I'm sure audiences will enjoy her.

Stephanie J Block is probably one of the most unnoticed talents on broadway. She has more acting chops than most current broadway leads, and she is also a dancer. "She Loves to Hear the Music" was ridiculous in Boy from Oz. One of the few truly powerful voices currently on broadway. She may not riff every other note, but she knows what she is doing.
