So what exactly are the child labor laws for a professional Broadway show? A friend of mine when he was a child was in several shows including: Chip in Beauty and The Beast, Gavroche in Les Miz, One of Annie's brothers in Annie Get Your Gun and a few others. While he did say that every performance day he did have to show up to the theater, because the kids did understudy one other, he only normally went on 4 times a week for a 8 show week or 6 times a wee
