it just tells you how long the how is including intermission

Technically, it's only about 10 minutes before "Telly" starts. But that song is still considered part of intermission.

I'm not sure if you would know, but am i right to think the couples in opening number also play older children and the dancers in the competition? they surly dont have other roles too? 

its just company/ensemble who dont play parents in opening number then play mafia/circus people?

Does anyone know what the quick changes / quickest quick changes are on Matilda?

I know the show is about 2.5hrs but I'm just curious to how long the first act (and second) is, thanks in advanced
