Picky Phantom movie question

I saw the Phantom movie yesterday, and i saw the show in london this summer. For some reason, probably because seeing myself in the role of Christine is beyond ridiculous, i've always enjoyed and respected the role of Meg Giry.
Do you think that this role was expanded or diminished in the movie?
The only instance i remember is in the beginning of the movie where Carlotta refuses to sing, and normally in the show Meg says "Christine Daae can do it, sir" but instead that had t

its just a little frustrating because the website said 1/2, now it says 1/9 and that's supposed to be official.

speaking on behalf of those who bought tickets to 1/2, we consider an announcement on wickedthemusical.com somewhat definite.
