Best Broadway Soundtracks?

Based on your list of likes and possibilities i would definitely go with In the Heights! I love the music from that show! I think it is so well done! I always find myself with different songs from it stuck in my head and its just fun to try and remember all the "rapping" parts too! :)
American Airlines Theatre Seating

I do agree it was kind of weird that there werent any rows dividing the section at all. But i sat in the second last row in the center mezz and they were fine! There were only 6 or so rows in the mezz... so it wasnt bad at all!
I paid 21.50$ through hiptix for my ticket.

 May 3 2010, 07:05:57 PM
Alright everyone, so i just got back from my NYC trip and was lucky enough to see 8 shows (could have been 9 but we left times square because of the bomb threat). I saw In the Heights, Mary Poppins, Hair, Wicked, Promises, Promises, Sondheim on Sondheim, Everyday Rapture, and Mamma Mia.

My friends and I won the lotto for In the Heights our first night. There were not many people doing the lotto, maybe only about 10 people didnt win. The show was great Corbin did a great job. Courtney R

BOMB THREAT ON 45TH AND BROADWAY
 May 3 2010, 04:54:36 PM
I was there! My friends were eating at Juniors and they saw the car smoking... I was picking up tickets for A Behanding in Spokane. When I came back around 730 for the show the whole road was blocked off and a police officer was telling the thousands of people who were there that all the shows were canceled and to get out of there asap. I went back to the theatre and they let me return my tickets and my friend and I left. It was kind of scary but all of us who were there were very lucky!

Anyone seeing the first preview of FENCES tonight?
 Apr 15 2010, 12:24:27 PM
I hope this doesnt come out wrong... but when i saw The Color Purple the same thing happened there. There were some women who got up and were like "you tell 'em girl" and stuff like that! It was kind of funny but definitely took something away from the production!
