YAY! I seriously almost fell out of my chair when I read this news. I've wanted a proper recording for this show since I saw it (and fell in love with it) last September. Now we get a concert, too! I'm SO excited! I *so* hope James Barbour is cast and able to perform as Carton!
I just wish I lived over in the UK so I could attend in person...

I'm so happy to discover I wasn't the only one to completely fall in love with this musical! I saw it with my parents when it first started in previews on Broadway (early September), and we are STILL talking and raving about it. I was absolutely shocked when the negative reviews came out, considering the excitement and overwhelmingly positive response of the audience after the show. If Barbour doesn't get a Tony (or at least a nomination), then there is no justice in this world. :P
