Wicked-Week Voting...! Sep 23
2006, 02:09:02 AM
Hey everyone, My girlfriend Rosalie is one of 10 finalists in Canada for the Wicked-Week Contest! I'm really proud of her and a boyfriend's work is never done, that's why I'm asking for your support. It would mean a lot to us if you could vote for her at: www.wicked-week.com It only takes a minute to sign up, and it would make her so happy. You can also vote for a finalist in the Midwest and one in the East Coast. But when it comes to the Canadian f

Wicked in Toronto, just saw it Mar 13
2005, 11:07:35 PM
The best part was when Elphaba cast her spell on Chistery during the show today and nothing happened. Poor bastard Peter John Chursin looked like a moron when his wings didn't expand. Everyone on stage kept going on with the text about Chistery's transformations... meanwhile nada. Yikes. All I could do was skake my head and sympathize... --M--

re: Wicked in Chicago Mar 9
2005, 09:58:59 PM
I doubt there will be a permanent production in Chicago, mainly because the show is booked for additional dates/cities. The Toronto production is nearly sold out and producer David Mirvish would love for nothing else than to keep a permanent production in Toronto past the date. The only reason he isn't is because the show is already booked for Chicago. Too bad, it is going to be a hit in Toronto and Chicago. --M--

Jane Eyre... Dec 20
2004, 12:50:22 PM
Alas, the best through-composed musical NEVER to make it to Broadway was the initial version of Paul Gordon's JANE EYRE. This show was incredible in Toronto. Unfortunately, the revamped Broadway version didn't compare. --M--
