CABARET extends through Jan. 4, 2015  Apr 26 2014, 05:30:04 AM
Asked Michelle at the stage door tonight if she plans on staying through January and she said she will be. She said she is going to have green nail polish for a LONG time. Forgot to ask Alan, but I'd assume he is as well if Michelle is.
Does "Spider-Man" Still Stop Mid-Show Often?  Jun 20 2013, 12:30:57 AM
I saw the show for the second time on Tuesday night (only because I had gotten free tickets and I was curious how it changed since previews) and was surprised to see the show get stopped midway through the first act after Spider-Man got tangled in his wires while flying around the audience. Hadn't heard anything about this happening in a really long time so was wondering if anyone knows if it does happen often? Or maybe I just haven't paying enough attention.

If anyone is curious... the

Elephant Project: Alzheimer's Celebrity Auctions Live Now!  Aug 11 2010, 09:44:31 PM
Hey everyone!

Thanks for always being supportive of The Elephant Project in the past! For those that don't know, it is an organization that I created to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Association. We have celebrities take a picture with an elephant beanie baby (because "elephants never forget") and then auction off the photos with an autographed card and a beanie. Right now we have a round of 52 auctions live on eBay with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Association. Some of the celebrities up for auction right now include Tina Fey, Chris Pine, Vanessa Williams, Abigail Breslin, Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, and many more!

Here's a link to an article on BWW for more info: https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Mazzie_Williams_et_al_Take_Part_in_Elephant_Project_20100810

And you can go to http://www.elephantproject.org for more information! The link to the auctions is: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/elephantproject.

It would be great if anyone can pass this info to anyone you know that would be interested in the auctions! We need all of the support we can get! So please tweet to your friends and everything!

Sorry for this shameless plug :)

Next Fall closing weekend student rush  Jul 2 2010, 07:16:00 PM
A friend of mine said she heard that Next Fall has suspended student rush for the final weekend. I was planning on doing rush tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is true?
Hodge out of La Cage  Jun 17 2010, 01:51:13 PM
I'm pretty sure I saw him exit the stage door last night when I was leaving 'Night Music', so I guess he was in last night.
PROMISES, PROMISES OFFICIAL REVIEW THREAD  Apr 25 2010, 08:55:59 PM
I feel like most of these reviewers find the problem with Chenoweth to stem from the addition of the two songs that really stop the flow of the show. I really wonder what they would have been had they kept the show as it was.
Public Theater - "Speak Truth to Power" Ticketing Problems  Apr 20 2010, 01:23:19 AM
For the past hour I have been trying to buy tickets for the Public Theater's benefit reading of "Speak Truth to Power". I've been on their website and the tickets keep going from being SOLD OUT to being Available. Whenever I click the drop down menu, I click 2 tickets, then "Buy Tickets". It brings me to the cart where it doesn't show any seats and just says $0.00. Eventually, the tickets get sold out and once again reappear. This has been happening in a cycle for over an hour.

Has anyo

LEND ME A TENOR rush  Apr 18 2010, 12:27:11 AM
I sat in the 4th seat in on the left side front row and I think the seat is totally fine. There was only maybe a few seconds where I couldn't see something. It's not the most ideal view since the show uses the whole stage and is usually on either the far left or far right, but you can still see pretty much everything.
La Cage and Tenor Stage Doors  Apr 14 2010, 02:03:47 AM
After tonight's (4/13) performance, everyone came out. You weren't allowed to take picture of or with Anthony LaPaglia, but everyone else was game for anything.
LEND ME A TENOR rush  Apr 14 2010, 02:02:23 AM
My friend rushed this morning. Got there at 11:05am and got Orch A 5-7.
American Idiot Rush/Lottery: How Bad We Talkin' Here?  Mar 30 2010, 02:44:41 PM
I went on Friday, 3/26 and there were probably 50-75 people there, yet I won. My first time winning any Bway lotto other than [title of show] lol. The seats were pretty good, except it is a very big show and probably would be viewed best from the mezz to get an overall picture.
LEND ME A TENOR rush  Mar 28 2010, 12:37:24 AM
Got rush tickets today at about 10:15-10:20.

My seats were Orchestra Row B seats 8-10 for tonight's show. Fantastic seats. My friend and I laughed our asses off for the whole show. I highly recommend this one. Fantastic performances are given by each and every cast member. Stanley Tucci has pulled off a masterpiece in my opinion. This was one of the best night's I've had in the theater.

PROMISES, PROMISES offering $30 student rush tickets  Mar 28 2010, 12:18:59 AM
There obviously was going to be a chance that there would be no tickets. We all knew it was "subject to availability" and we even were talking about this happening while waiting, but just hoped there would have been tickets. It just sucks that for the first time they were doing the rush, they didn't have tickets. It's obviously beyond anyone's control; it's not the box office woman's fault, though she could have been nicer about it like mentioned before. The way I look at it is that someone need
PROMISES, PROMISES offering $30 student rush tickets  Mar 27 2010, 05:32:32 PM
I was there too this morning. I was really surprised that there were no tickets. I've done tons of rushes before that were "subject to availability" and have never been turned away because they just weren't giving seats that day. The lady at the box office was rather rude and told us we can buy $136.50 tickets if we'd like, but she wasn't giving us student tickets. It'd be nice to know exactly what the availability needs to be for there to be tickets given out. That said, like others have mentio
re: God of Carnage SRO question  Nov 11 2009, 10:35:10 AM
Bumping this to ask how the standing room line has been the past couple of weeks. I can't believe I waited all this time to see this show, and would like to see it sometime in the next few days. Has there been a line lately because the cast is about to leave? If anyone has tried it recently and could let me know, that would be great.
re: BCEFA FALL COLLECTIONS  Nov 2 2009, 12:07:42 AM
At the Saturday matinee, The Lion King was selling signed posters, the Carols for a Cure CD, pictures with Young Simba and Young Nala ($20), and backstage tours. They didn't give out prices during the plea, but I heard someone saying the price for the pictures while walking out.

Mamma Mia didn't do anything this afternoon.

re: Elephant Project - Fall 2009 Auctions to benefit Alzheimer's Association with TONS of Stars!  Oct 13 2009, 08:48:30 PM
If anyone's interested in bidding, the auctions are going to start closing in 10 minutes. This is going to be a record round for us, so if you can, help us make it an even higher number to beat next time!

re: OLEANNA Reviews  Oct 12 2009, 12:03:52 AM
"Brantley's line about how OLEANNA should be "breathless" theater but how this production allows "plenty of time to breathe...and ponder" is exactly how I felt about the show, ultimately."

I was at opening night tonight, and this is exactly my feeling about the show. I went in expecting to be engaged the whole time, but there were just some moments where I couldn't help but let my eyes wander around the theater.

The auctions end on Tuesday, and while this round is already a record for us with over $2,000 in bids, we are hoping to raise even more money! Tons of great auctions have really low bids, and some with none!

Here are the pictures of all the auctions up right now:
