I live in Chicago too. Ditto most of this post above, especially avoid Wrigleyville.
Might I add to look into Second City tickets... main stage shows sell out often. It is definitely a classic Chicago theatre experience everyone should do once in life.
Are most of the people posting warnings about Chicago New Yorkers? Maybe I am just too comfortable in cities, but never had an issue with Chicago trains or neighborhoods that was any different from typical city issues. Red li

Anyone heard more on either production transferring? I saw Chicago tonight and heard people in the audience say it was going to Broadway... but can’t find anything to confirm.
I enjoyed it, but not as much as I had hoped. My expectations were way too high. Overall very interesting adaptation though.

They had a cute wooden ornament for $15. Clothes, showcard, typical items. They also had a cute res usable tote bag. Before the show you get a free pin if you take a picture with their backdrop.

Last Night I saw Latin History and lots of audience members were shouting back at John. sometimes he asked for participation but mostly I thought it was rude. One group left from the balcony(not sure if forced or walked out) as they left a guy started shouting Trump lives and then there was shouting that you all are garbage. John ignored but then security was up by the stage at the end. Has this become a regular occurrence in shows?

I got to town yesterday with the goal of seeing this show. I usually rush/lotto/etc. I knew this one would be tough and I am taking a young friend so I went to tkts last night straight from the plane. I had just missed the last tickets they had at 30% off. I went to the box office and was told that they start selling standing room as soon as the show sells out, they will even do lottery for standing room if all the tickets sell. To me this meant that there weren’t special lottery tickets set
