Betty Buckley is out again? Jan 29

According to this review by Michael Quintos except for the Sunday night performance that nealb1 (Thanks for the review!) saw she missed all the other shows during the week in the OC. His review for Jessica Sheridan and the show is really good pointing out...
"To those worried about a future date in the national tour's run in which they will have to miss Ms. Buckley in the title role for any reason, I have two words for you: don't worry. As bummed as I was not being able to see Ms. Buckley's long-anticipated take on musical theater's most infamous matchmaker outside of Anatevka, Dolly Levi (and I really really wanted to see Ms. Buckley), her admirable understudy Ms. Sheridan---joyfully cheeky and adorably spunky as one might expect in the role---is a terrific, wonderfully game substitute, earning every bit of her raucous standing ovation that greeted her during the final bows of Friday evening's performance".

For those of you who just posted about seeing the 15th Anniversary show did they do anything special at Curtain Call other than most likely a BCFEA speech?

DEH in LA Oct 24

It didn't say in the program (or I just couldn't find it) what performances Stephen Christopher Anthony will be on for, but I would assume the weekend matinees. He was on for the matinee last Saturday when a friend saw it. I would love to see him in the role, but it looks like the production is close to being sold out and those tickets that are available are a heck of a lot more expensive than my season tickets were.
Yes it did. It's on the cast page P4

Best Glinda/Elphaba Pair in WICKED? Oct 21
2018, 08:22:42 PM
Obviously from my screen name I've seen Wicked a few times and I have seen 26 pairs of Elphaba and Glinda. I have a list that I update after I've seen a new pair and of this date here are my personal favorites:
Eden Espinosa/Megan Hilty x 9
Donna Vivino/Katie Rose Clarke x 2
(Gap)
Cassie Levy/Megan Hilty x 4 with my all-time favorite Wicked show that I've seen the night that Cassie Levy departed Wicked LA on May 11, 2008.

I had no idea that Jason Graae was the Wizard on tour. I sure hope that he's still in it when it comes to San Diego and/or the Pantages.

Yours was also my first thought when I read it, She always includes "Suddenly Seymour" as a duet with her husband Brian Gallagher in concerts when I've seen her.

What house in Westwood did they use during the Wicked years?
It was the Wadsworth Theatre off of Wilshire Blvd in Brentwood which was a smaller version of the Pantages as seen in these photos.

and 2020 is the answer to the often asked question, "When is Hamilton coming back to Los Angeles?"
For the record, the Dolby has some awful seats, but hopefully as a subscriber, I won't be totally screwed. I hope the number of "Presidents Club" seats doesn't expand in the new venue.
And yours is the right answers as it would be perfect timing when the SF sit down probably ends.

I’m surprised that the Trust brought back “The Book Of Mormon” after it was just here in Feb. 2017. And the “Cirque Eloize Hotel” is being billed as “Part of the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts”.
If you're going to do a season extra I suggest seeing Cirque Eloise and their new show Hotel.

I saw them for the first time this year at the Irvine Barclay Theatre when they presented Saloon, a musical acrobatic adventure set in the Old West. It was fantastic with a small troupe of 12 actors singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and performing acrobatic feats. Think Cirque du Soleil on a small scale but better in my opinion. Hoping that they'll return next season and do an encore with their new show.

2018 - 2019 Touring Season Mar 17
2018, 09:13:59 PM
Final clues for Segerstrom in Costa Mesa are for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Beautiful and Hello Dolly joining the other musicals: Fiddler on the Roof, Aladdin, Waitress, Cats, Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away. Hopefully the mentioned non-equity tour by RippedMan for Fiddler on the Roof will mean it will be in Curtain Call and not the Broadway Series.

Yes, you can buy both, but I don't want to. There's no savings if it's like when I purchased it in the past just to see the return of Wicked. I've seen them do this in the past where a big musical plays at the Ahmanson or the Pantages and then doesn't show up at Segerstrom until the end of the season and it's in

#5 is Cats with 4 more shows still to be announced. The real question is which of these will be in Curtain Call and not part of the season subscription as there will NOT be 9 new musicals in 2018-2019. I'll predict that Dear Evan Hansen will be in Curtain Call since it's going to the Ahmanson first. Hope I'm wrong but have a feeling I'm not.
