Beauty and the Beast tour montage.  Mar 31 2010, 04:27:22 PM
This looks so scaled down in every aspect, seeing this i can't understand why they didn't use use the current European tour sets whom the Disney creatives praised so much.

I think this looks a lot better

Australia FINALLY finds its Mary Poppins!  Mar 16 2010, 07:37:44 AM
I think Verity will do superb in the Mary role, i found some articles about her audition in The Hague where they are finishing the rehearsals for the upcomming Dutch version.
As it shows they will use both sides of the stage and it looks a lot bigger.
I hope they will take this to the Australian production as well cause it looks really spectacular

Thoughts: Laura Bell Bundy's 'Giddy On Up' Music Video  Jan 21 2010, 12:56:21 PM
Love it, this girl can do everything!
But it is too typical country for mainstream radio

re: Bring back Urinetown!  Jun 19 2009, 08:01:32 AM
It is in my top 3 of best musical production as well
I saw it during my many visits to Broadway, just didn't expect it would have such an impact on us
On or off broadway i don't mind but just: bring it back !

re: Next To Normal or Hair?  Jun 19 2009, 07:57:25 AM
Tough choice but my pick would be Hair, this direction is so spot on.
For the first time i saw a complete musical production and not the fragmentary play with songs it was before.

re: Your music is forever music, Alan Menken!!  Jun 18 2009, 06:06:41 PM
MisterRussell is it that bad??
Then listen to the whole speech and not just the quote from the subject title!
I think Whoopi speech,is heartfelt and warm and so down-to-earth Whoopi.

re: August Osage County closing June 28  Jun 18 2009, 06:47:48 AM

re: Bring back Urinetown!  Jun 18 2009, 06:30:49 AM
My experience is that EVERYONE speaks English in Holland,
so i guess these actors will be no exception.

re: How Inappropriate is Hair?  Jun 18 2009, 06:21:34 AM

Bring back Urinetown!  Jun 17 2009, 07:25:07 PM
Found this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SktFYPA189A

Isn't it time to bring back Urinetown, it shows this musical is quite popular in Europe with productions in Germany and Italy and now heading for Amsterdam.
Bring it back please!

and the Tony Award[s] went to...  Jun 8 2009, 08:54:35 AM
YAY for Billy Elliot, but i agree on Elton John not getting a Tony for best score.
Oh and how i looooooove Alice Ripley !!!

re: Sir Elton Has Pure Class  Jun 8 2009, 08:49:42 AM
I think Elton has class i mean Class with a capital C.
He is also a total genius, but he has what we say here: his heart on his tongue.
He says what comes up in his mind, there is no filter.
That makes him colourful and in the same time sensitive and totally unpredictable.

re: Frank Wildhorn's 'Bonnie & Clyde' to Premiere at La Jolla!  Jun 7 2009, 02:11:47 PM
I look foreward to this one, i really think this story has great musical potential
