Three aspiring musical theatre high school students Charles, Alex and Maya (graduated from Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in May 2014) wanted to put on Spring Awakening in honor of a dear friend who committed suicide. They met, put their heads together and raised the needed funds through friends and family on Go Fund Me.
