re: Can We PLEASE Get Betty Buckley Back To Broadway?? May 31 2009, 12:39:31 PM
I hardly take your "account" of things with any truth. First, it was Jon Robin-Baitz that wrote the pilot and stayed on with the show for a year. AND if you recall, went to the press at the end of the year with a huge rant and diary about this time with the show and how horrible it was. She was filming "Frantic" during the first reunion and "Another Woman" during the second. If you think about it, Betty is the only one from Eight is Enough that is still working in show biz and is successful. I just love how everyone on these boards "Knows someone who knows someone" or "I heard..." or whatever. I am printing these out and bringing them to Feinstein's so I'll get all the accurate info for you. It is obvious something that is very precious in your lives.

Well, 10 - 12 years ago I'm sure I did and said things I don't even remember now. Let's be positive about people and things in this new age, shall we not? Kindness starts with the individual and spreads throughout the world!

That is such BS! Betty always talks about "Carrie The Musical" with affection. In fact, she sings songs from it in her new Broadway By Request show and talks about how fun and exciting the show was....even for such a short run. Stop repeating false gossip and give her a break!
