Just heard a ******* of Once Around The Sun and plunked out some of the notes in it...Maya belts two F# in a row. Like BELTS...not mixes...BELTS. Its crazy and sounds awesome. Plus the last note she holds on Love and Live On is an E. I've always loved her voice but had no idea she could sing like that. I remember a thread earlier about people saying she couldn't sing Elphaba...well, she has the range, and she can sustain the long notes (Dance of The Robe, Gods Love Nubia, etc). So vocally she can do it, she'd look awesome, and she can act it.
I personally would love to see her do it.
