What is the view from the mezzanine like? The view from left and right orchestra?

I don't know about the mezz, but if you have full view seats in the orchestra then you won't miss a thing. If you have partial view seats, you may miss the tops of people's heads in a few scenes that take place on a catwalk-type platform.

I sat front row in house left... being so close you may miss a little feet movement, & you can see into the stage left wing, but it didn't take away anything for me. There's a lot of audience interaction & being so close was fun in that sense.

Mezz would probably be awesome, too... they're always my preferred seats as opposed to back of the orchestra or partial view in the orchestra in any show.

Mezzanine 4rd row was the best seats I've ever had for JB. I've sat in the front row on both sides twice and although it's nice to be close, the show just works better from the mezz. I've also sat in the back of the orchestra and those work too but you do miss the screens they use in parts of the show and I felt like I was further away in row W of the orch than from row D of the mezz.

The August Wilson mez has a great view! The theatre isn't enormous, and I actually prefer sitting up top to sitting in the orchestra for that show, as the projections are easier to look at. However, it is quite a hike up to the top...

Okay, I'm in the process of trying to buy tickets right now, and I'm getting really frustrated. I keep getting Orch Row W or Mezz Row L. Should I keep looking, or get one, or what?

I am looking at the seating right now and the Mezz Row L looks like a pretty good seat, the Orch Row W is going to put you back a ways.

I'd take the Mez L. In Och W, you will be far back and may not be able to see the amazing projections.

I've sat in the back of the orchestra and it's okay, but I recommend the mezzanine if the choices are row W and mezz L.

Good to hear the perspective on the front row. I always wanted to sit there.
