Color Purple/Drowsy Chap rush

Has anyone had any luck getting these on a Saturday? Thinking of going this or next weekend. What time should we get there and where are the seats located? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

However: Drowsy's lotto is an hour before showtime. They take names 1 1/2 before curtain.

Not sure about Color Purple.

I have tried the Color Purple rush 3 times and have yet to be successful. On all occasions I was there by 8-8:30 for the box office oppening at 10. People have been getting to it very early and the last time I was there, someone held spots for 5 people. When people complained to that person they were informed that it was "none of their business."

I talked to the woman in the box office who informed me that fights were not all that un-common, including one fight breaking out in the lobby of the theater.

Because of this, I have decided that it is just not worth my time. I will either purchase a regular tickets or not see the show. I really think they should do a lottery instead.
