Posted: 11/20/06 at 11:25pmI did it on Saturday night. I showed up at the box office at 7pm (the show was at 8pm). I was in Left Orchestra Row N, seat 9. It was really far away, at least from my perspective. He had given me the option of front row mezz, but I took the Orchestra. I had seen the show two nights earlier, Thursday, from the onstage seats, and that was 10 times better than from where I sat in the audience. I'd recommend those first.

I did it last Saturday.
Got there at 10, for matinee rush.
The guy wanted to put me and my friends on the stage, but we argued and got Row C Center orchestra for 25 bucks each (they looked like premium seats to me).
I imagine the hype will increase later in previews and as reviews come out... but go see it, it's amazing.

Posted: 11/20/06 at 11:27pmIt is amazing. Regardless of where you sit, see it. But I think anyone should try the onstage seats at some point if they do end up liking the show, because it's a really interesting experience.

I loved my seats. They were as close as a normal front row would be (since there's no pit) and I felt really connected with the actors.
The front row looks a bit awkard since the actors sit on steps that lead of the stage. They are literally a foot away from row A. lol.

Posted: 11/21/06 at 12:09amI got to the theatre at seven tonight and asked for student rush, which the box office guy gave me on the stage. $25.00 for sitting on the stage isn't bad. The mezzanine was completely empty though.

An empty mezz? So there aren't assigned Student Rush seats?
I plan on seeing this twice, would one generally recommend sitting in the audience first or onstage?

Posted: 11/21/06 at 1:47amRe: empty Mezz, was there anything going on (except High Fidelity 1st preview) in mid town? The City is full of people due to the Thanksgiving Parade crowds (I saw many young people who would be in the parade), so since there are not many shows playing on Monday night, I would think SA would be filled with these people too (as the tix are sold at TKTS).

Posted: 11/21/06 at 1:56amMany shows played tonight (Monday) as a make-up performance because they will be off for Thanksgiving. It hasn't even been a full week of previews yet. Give it time. Let it open. Let the word spread. The first preview was only this past Thursday.

Posted: 11/21/06 at 9:19amI got a ticket for Saturday at 7PM, and got 2nd row center seats. We were amazed we could get such perfect seats an hour before the show!

Posted: 12/7/06 at 4:58pmHow's the rush now? How early should one arrive to get a stage seat?

Posted: 12/7/06 at 5:02pmI got there monday at 10 and i was the second student to get there, i think. I got Row C orchestra, so i suggest going early cause you'll get the best seats. the stage seats are selling out in advance now that theyre available online.
