Spring Awakening Rush Time???

What time do people line up for SA Rush? I want to rush it next weekend and I wanted to know what time to get there.

I went last friday and saturday and I got there at around 9 both times and was fine. I was about 30th in line. the line did get long, but they give away a lot of tickets.

I went last Wednesday and got there a little before 8 and was third in line. Not the weekend, but it'll give you an idea of the range people start lining up during.

I read they give out 50 tickets. Does that mean literally 50 tickets so the 1st 25 people in line can get 2 each & that's it or does it mean 50 sets meaning 100 tickets? It makes sense just 50 tickets, not 100 but just wondering.

I think it's about 50 for the matinee, but it is less for the evening show. But they have SRO for the evening show that you can buy if you don't get a rush ticket.

The BO guy said that they normally give out 85-100 tickets depending on the day

When I went, they had 50 student rush tickets for an 8:00, Wednesday show. Not 50 pairs, but 50 tickets. Not everyone buys two tickets.

yeah, it was amazing, when I went (it was durring holiday break so the whole city was crazy) the line in front of us was REALLY long. Like, 40 people probably. But when we got up there, there was still one ticket left for the matinee! we ended up getting $56 tix at tkts (oddly there was VERY VERY little like at tkts- we were like.. woah) just because they were better quality (I'm SO happy we did, front row to the left is AMAZING). But yeah, they have a LOT of tix available, if we'd gotten there just a couple minutes earlier we would have gotten them! So I'd say prob around 9, 8:30 if you want to be safe

I saw a monday show and I got there around 12. I got left side row F aisle seat. But this was still in previews so I don't know about now.

I would say (based on today) get there no later than 8:30. I would suggest being there by 8:15, but 8:30 and the latest.
