Anyone do rush for Spelling Bee lately? What time should I get there on Saturday for the evening performance?
Thanks.

I love the show, but I haven't had the most luck with it lately. Two Saturdays ago, I was supposed to rush for it with my friends, but we got there like 6 (because we thought they started selling rush only two hours before), and they were sold out. Today, I was supposed to see it with a friend but then was told upon arriving that they "don't do" Wednesday night shows anymore - only a matinee. Which confused the hell out of me. Is that how it's always been?

Posted: 7/25/07 at 8:37pmthey start selling at 10am on Saturdays for both shows. I got there at 9:20 two Saturdays ago and was the 30th or so person in line. I never expected it to be that busy. I luckily got two student tix to the matinee. They sell the 14 bench seats first for both shows and the box office said they sell beyond that to students only if they have extra seats to sell. I happened to get 2 matinee seats up and off to the side (row G) which was fine for me.
