The Times has made the Union sound like crooks, I would love to see the union reply point by point in a NY Times OP ED piece.
The charge of featherbedding seems correct if the NY times article is correct, if 2 guys are need for overtime you have to pay 35 guys for overtime...no wonder ticket prices are soo high and only huge corporations have the money nowdays to put on a broadway show.

Even if the producers get their way do you honestly think ticket prices will go down? Supply and demand. They know people are willing to pay so they are trying to push the limit of just how much they will. You can only push people so far with their money, and I'm sure they are planning on taking it to the limit.

the box office workers union is already pissed about this, the only thing that will trun Local ones arm is the other unions..
stagehands can pickup cash work in everyones home, although its hard to get your neighbor to yet you redo the bathroom during the holidays...these guys can make a living off the books.
everyone knows a union worker who does side work
