Posted: 12/20/07 at 7:52pmIf you go to "that site" and search "lansbury mame" and then sort by date added you will be able to see some very rare home movies that seem to be from the original production. It's beyond incredible seeing Lansbury strut her stuff in her first Tony Award winning role. A minor downside: the quality is somewhat poor and the music is from the original cast recording, but then again these were recorded in 1966-1967.

I felt like Carter looking into King Tut's tomb and remarking "I see woooooonderous things."
Thanks to whoever posted that. I was taken back to the night I saw the show with my dad, who passed away in August. Thanks for the tickets, dad and thanks for the footage, Mrs. Calabash, whoever you are.
