So I don't care that people tend to not like these threads. And I don't care that many people on this board don't like this show, but you know what? I love it! And considering there have been many threads on High Fidelity (the majority of them negative), I figured we should have one positive thread, just for people who love this show! Feel free to post reviews and news here!

Opening night is tomorrow! Who's going to go try to do lottery?

Didn't we... just have one of these threads? I realize it turned argumentative, but I'm not sure an entirely new thread was needed.

Anyway, I think I'm going to try the lotto tomorrow afternoon. Are you? I need a lotto buddy.

Ha! I wish I was in the city.

But yeah, I just figured we should start a brand new, fresh one considering the show opens tomorrow night.

Didn't they take this song out of the show?

"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife

Hah - they must have, considering I've never heard it.

It's the same 2 or 3 negative people complaining and criticizing High Fidelity, there really aren't that people on these boards talking trash...

I saw it again tonight and the crowd was going nuts. It is such a great show! Hysterical. Better each time. Anyone who doesn't like it needs to lighten up and get over themselves...

Good luck tomorrow HiFi!!

Haha yeah it was a song that was there in the Boston run. They took it out and replaced it with I'm Sorry, I believe. I think it's funny that the thread is named something that's not in the show anymore. It wasn't a great song.

Yes, they did take it out and change it to I'm Sorry for the Broadway run. (I saw the first Boston preview, then the first New York preview.)

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Whatever, I just thought the title worked for the thread title.
