I very much enjoyed these books, especially when I was younger. I was introduced to them waaaay back in middle school, and I came to love the character of Kinsey Millhone. Later, I got into the audiobooks as for awhile I had a job that required a one hour commute each day. They were wonderfully read by Judy Kaye.
She made it all the way to Y before her death, but per her wishes, the final book will not be ghostwritten. I respect that, though I’ll always wonder what would have become of Kinsey.

Had the privilege to meet her once at Bouchercon. It was a small party and she interacted w all of us. A lovely lady who was really dedicated to her work and her character/alter-ego Kinsey. She actually told her family, if they sell the books for adaptation, she'll haunt them!
She was also involved w promoting women in the field too through Sisters in Crime.
As her family said- "for us the alphabet stops at Y"
Thank forall the good reading Ms Grafton.
