Read today that Mc Cain is standing up for GWB. Mc Cain is classy although I do not always agree with him on some issues

Re Nero, I think GWB gets a pass for the blame on Rome burning. It really was not his fault as he was not born yet. What the hell, let's blame him for that as well

Uhhhh - I read that McCain stood up for Bush to cover up for his own embarrassing showing in the straw poll.

No, McCain is as much of an opportunistic bastard as everyone else, despite his good image. But because he's a right-to-center opportunistic bastard, he gets better publicity than, say, Hillary Clinton, a left-to-center opportunistic bastard.

Once again, I am in complete agreeance with Mr. Roxy. Re Nero I do not even think that W has picked up a fiddle since quitting after his first Suzuki Method lesson. Little W claimed the fiddle was "too hard work" [sic] so we might as well blame him for the sinking of the Titanium too.
