Doesn't this seem a bit dated now? Two families with 9 kids each? Does that strike anyone as unlikely? Anyone know if they try to explain the circumstances?
I was the youngest of 6 kids-- I loved both these movies as they p[roved to me that IT COULD BE WORSE!!!

It might be dated, but it's still wonderful...
Beave, I am on a mission to find it now! My sister and I used to watch that movie and dream of having a really big family (it was just the two of us). We loved the 'organization' of the household!
Plus, you can't go wrong with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda!

I love the original movie. I want to get it on DVD, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I better get it soon, though, since after this movie comes out it'll be much harder to find.
Are a couple of the kids at the top of the picture black? I guess they're going to be changing the script to be able to fit in a few more Nickolodeon kid stars or something pathetic like that.
