Hello! It's been a while since I shared some new content, but I wanted to let everyone here know I just posted a new page on "Memories of Melody Top" about a 1978 production of PETER PAN with Nancy Dussault and Alan Sues. I also included a newspaper article about Peter Foy, the man who started the famous Flying by Foy company. I hope all of you enjoy seeing the pictures and reading the story.

Posted: 5/9/12 at 6:54amYou're welcome! I wish I had more information on Alan's Captain Hook. Reviewing a different production of PETER PAN in 2004 by Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Tribune critic Michael Phillips offered the following: "Ever since Cyril Ritchard did a riotously flouncy tarantella on TV as Captain Hook, Pan's nemesis typically has gone the camp route. If you happened to catch Alan Sues in the role at the Milwaukee Melody Top back in the '70s, you know what I mean. Sues made Cyril Ritchard look like Charles Bronson."

Posted: 5/9/12 at 5:49pmI saw this production, but can't recall much about Alan Sues as Hook. Nancy Dussault was great as Peter. It was amazing to see what they accomplished in the way of flying and special effects in the round. I enjoyed the photos on the page and, especially, the interview with Foy and Nancy's charming autograph inscription on the souvenir program page.
