Auction prices, like anything else, go up and down with suppkly and demand.

The off-Broadway CD will be scarce in a few years and may command significant prices.


Collectors seem to be always chasing after the same handful of out-of-print Cd's. Right now its WHOOP-UP, KWAMINA, teh Broadway CHESS, the original London CHILDERN OF EDEN and the Judi Dench A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. These values will go down when the CD gets reissued.

The original Lp of FLAHOOLEY was valued at $250-$300. in the mid 1970s - so Capitol re-released it on Lp. The value of the orignal dropped. Angel re-leased the album on CD in 1993. Later that went out-of-print and its value started creeping up close to $100 - so now DRG has reissued it and the value of the original pressing goes down.
