#1CUT scenes from Les Miserables that should be in film

I've seen the show many times and there used to be 2 scenes that really touched me/made me emotional.
I was very disappointed that those scenes were not in the 10th Anniversay Concert and not in the 25th Anniversary concert and only one of them is still in the stage production?
The first one is the Bargain, where Valjean finds Cosette in the Woods and takes her to the Thenardiers, then he sings a reprise of "I dreamed a dream" which is extremely effective and it makes a powerful scene. Then Valjean and Cosette leave and sing together again and he gives her a doll.

The second one is when Eponine brings the letter to Valjean, right before "on my own". They have this moment together and he warns her that there's danger in the streets tonight. Then he reads the letter out loud and then the song begins.

That's good to hear.
Strange that they cut out the beginning, middle part and ending of the Bargain then, the most beautiful parts, and let the 2nd and 4th part in.

I am pretty sure that the second one is at least partially still in the 25th anniversary concert. I can't check the whole thing because my computer doesn't want to load the video, but the "Be careful now, stay out of sight/there's danger in the streets tonight" line is definitely in there.
Edited to add: my computer decided it did want to load the video and yeah, that interaction is still there.

Little People would be good, but Ten Little Bullets would be better. Not sure they'd want to deal with paying James Fenton for it, though.
I'd really like the extended chase sequence music that was there in previews at the Barbican to be in the movie somehow.

Posted: 2/6/12 at 12:52pm"I Saw Him Once" was not an extra song for Cosette, per se. It was replaced by Cosette's opening solo in "In My Life," which pretty much has the same premise. If they add it to the movie, it'll just be redundant.
