Sorry if someone has already asked this. I did a search but couldn't find it.

Like, how much did Anderson Cooper get paid for H2S? or Glenn Close for ITW? what about if they aren't a name, like Joshua Henry in Bring it On?
do they get a weekly pay like most actors or do they get a flat rate when recording?

I know that David Ogden Stiers got a negotiated buy out (aka flat rate) for doing the prerecorded narration for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Therefore, I would assume your pay would be based on what kind of contract your agent could negotiate.

It is a given that Glenn Close, Anderson Cooper and David Ogden Stiers would have received more money than Joshua Henry. Gregory Peck did the voice overs for Flo Ziegfeld in the atrocious Will Rogers Follies and Walter Cronkite did the narration in How to Succeed with Matthew Broderick.

In the end it all comes down to name/voice recognition, agents, producers and negotiations. Producers want to pay as little money as possible and agents want to get their clients as much money as possible.
