FIRST WIVES CLUB CHICAGO PRE-BROADWAY RUN

I just found out that I won a pair of tickets to see the opening night performance of "The First Wives Club" at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago. This will be my first time seeing the opening night of a pre-Broadway opening. I read that they are not including "You Don't Own Me" in the show, but new songs written by the team of Holland, Dozier and Holland along with some of their old classics. I think that with the re-written book by "Designing Women"'s Linda Bloodworth-Thomas, it can't be all that bad. I am beyond excited!!!

I would think if nothing else they would go out of their way to include "You Don't Own Me" in the show, it was the highlight of the film. Hopefully Ms. Bloodworth-Thomason will bring some much needed humor to the proceedings.
