Dear Evan Hansen Ticket Help???#1

I've been a huge fan of DEH for a very long time but obviously could not get tickets to it. Now that Ben is leaving, I really want to see it before he leaves. Luckily, I will be in the city on September 23rd. I was planning to see Book of Mormon since it is impossible to get DEH tickets now, but I realized that ticket prices drop immensely when it's the day before the show. So I was thinking maybe I could go on StubHub the day before the show and get some cheap tickets. But since I am in the city for one day only, I feel like that is a huge risk. Number one, there might not be tickets and number two, the ticket prices might not drop. But I would really love to see DEH and this is going to be my last time in the city for a while... so is it worth risking??? I was thinking if I can't score DEH tickets I could probably find BOM tickets on StubHub but I feel like I might not be able to and then I won't have a show to see. Would you guys take this chance? And any tips?

I would say risk it. You could also wait in the cancellation line, while checking Stubhub. If you need to print last minute tickets, the Marriott right next to the Music Box has a business center that is open to the public.

I definitely would risk it!  There are almost always StubHub tickets available, and depending on your budget, you can also try the cancellation line.  I believe the tickets there usually average somewhere around $200.  If it really comes to the end and you're unable to get tickets on StubHub, the BOM tickets might be an option.  If neither of those is an option and you find that you might not have a show to go to, I suggest running to rush one of the easy rush shows! If it's like five minutes before curtain or something like that, you can bolt down the street and across Times Square to the Lyceum theatre, which has Play That Goes Wrong.  If you're not a fan, Bronx Tale is also a super easy rush, and the Longacre Theatre is just on 48th, and I can personally attest to the fact that it is indeed possible to get a rush ticket RIGHT before curtain!  But I do think that you'll be able to see DEH!

Best of luck to you, and I hope you enjoy!

Is BOM that sold out these days? You should be fine waiting and then, if not, just popping over and buying a ticket, I would think?

Thank you everyone! I'll definitely try StubHub and if not, I will go in the cancellation line.
