Hey everyone! Sorry if these sorts of threads come up too often. But I was wondering about the state of the Mean Girls rush line now that summer has started? I've read what I could about it, but I'm worried that school being out means that students now have the time to camp outside the box office! I was planning on heading to the show tomorrow (Tuesday) and arriving around 8am, two hours before the box office opens. Can anyone with recent experience provide some insight on if that should be fine? Thanks in advance!

Posted: 7/8/19 at 2:39pmHi! I rushed mean girls over a year ago when it first opened. We arrived about 15 minutes from the box office opening, and the line was a bit long but nothing crazy. The line got much longer a few minutes after we got in line. It was a Wednesday, so the rush for the evening show sold out, but we got tickets to the matinee, which was what we wanted!! The show was great!! Good luck😊

Someone on Twitter shared their experience on Wednesday, 7/3. She was first in line by arriving at 5:45. By 7:45am there were 15 people in line. Over 60 people by 9:30am

I haven’t rushed the show since March but my advice to you would be to arrive by 8am, definitely no later than that. The person at the box office told me that the number of tickets available for rush really depends on how well the show is sold that day. I believe many of the seats they sell for rush end up being side or rear orchestra so take a look at Ticketmaster’s seating chart for that performance to see what’s available. If there’s plenty of unsold seats, then it’s safe to assess that the likelihood of you (and others in line) will get in!
